Creating a Space in Taurin allows you to automatically collect and organize data based on precise criteria. Whether you want to focus on emails, contacts, or organizations, setting up a Space lets you tailor your dashboard so that only the relevant data appears—making your workflow smarter and more effective.

How It Works

To create a Space, you must complete two main steps:

Choose Your Data Type

Decide which core dataset will form the basis of your Space. You can select one of the following:

Message

Ideal for aggregating specific emails.

Contact

Focus on individual contacts and their interaction details.

Organization

Group data by organizations to monitor business relationships.

Select Collection Method

Decide how you want your Space to be populated with data. You have two options:

Auto-import data

Set up auto-import rules to import existing and future data automatically. You can also add data manually at any time.

Start from Scratch

Begin with an empty Space and immediately proceed to the Space Detail view. You can add auto-import rules later, and they will apply to new data only. You can also add data manually at any time.

Define Auto-Import Rules

Define the criteria for including data in your Space. If you selected Start from Scratch, you’ll proceed directly to the Space Detail view.

Based on the chosen dataset, you can apply specific rules:

For Message data type

Message label: Include messages that have either any or all of the selected labels, depending on your chosen condition.

Contact: Include messages that involve any of the selected contacts.

Contact label: Include messages that are linked to contacts that have either any or all of the selected labels, depending on your chosen condition.
Organization: Include messages that involve any of the selected organizations.

For Contact data type

Contact: Include contacts that are among the selected contacts.

Contact label: Include contacts that have either any or all of the selected labels, depending on your chosen condition.

Organization: Include contacts that belong to any of the selected organizations

For Organization data type

Organization: Include organizations that are among the selected organizations.
